Decorated in a glossy green glaze, this superb earthenware vase features Bindesbøll's signature decor of deeply carved swirling and linear motifs. Vertical striations encircling the cylindrical neck lead to a smooth protruding ridge. Cinched at the base of the neck, the globular body is decorated with a carved pattern which resembles stylized clouds or rolling seas.
