The fair, which the art world looks forward to all year round, is returning to Maastricht this weekend. We are of course talking about the TEFAF! The art, antique and design event, where fans from home and abroad report, will officially open the 31st edition for the general public tomorrow. TEFAF stands for The European Fine Art Fair and is an annual event that takes place at the Maastricht Exhibition and Congress Center (MECC). During the event, artists will present their most beautiful works for sale. There are also exhibitions. Art enthusiasts therefore report in large numbers in Maastricht, which may be called the center of the art world. TEFAF is not only an important stimulus for culture: the arrival of the event also means a busy period for Maastricht hotels, restaurants and shops.
