This intricately carved wooden vase by Lars Kinsarvik shows the true artistic mastery of the artist himself. The unpainted structure is carved in what appears to be two sections: the base portion with ribbon loops and vines which are interrupted four times, each for one of the feet that extend outwards from the base. The larger, top portion lies above the base and replicates various loops, crosses, and etchings that appear in the lower base portion.
