"Revealed" is a stoneware ceramic vase taking the shape of a tree branch. The level of detail here is outstanding. Using glaze to create a surface resembling wood, the artist has also included a number of details (small splits and cracks, and a whiter surface that resembles the outer bark of a tree) that enhance this trompe l'oeil effect. He also plays on shapes traditionally associated with art ceramics to accentuate these deceiving visual effects.
