The Stoneware Vase has been glazed in a light color scheme typical of Meier’s work in this era. White along its outer edge, the vase has been glazed in a slightly darker cream on its upper portion and its underside, and speckled with dots of dark brown. It consists of a simple but interesting form, in which a square base flares out to a wide circle that curves sharply inward to form a rounded top. A slightly raised mouth forms a short neck in the middle of this circular shape.
