A journey back to the original roots of the gallery, this exhibition explores the bizarre genius of the ceramics produced in Teplitz workshops between 1893-1910. In the heart of the Bohemian forest of what is now the Czech Republic, an explosion of creative force rocked the foundation of western ceramic tradition. These workshops produced a fairy tale of mythical beasts, sea creatures, strange vegetation and opiated maidens. Combining technically advanced production methods, the richest surfaces and dynamic designs to create an unforgettable symphony of treasured objects.
